Element tests good but only half of it lights and the high limit switch is bad. Customer will need both parts. I found the heater was cracked and one of the wires was touching the heater housing allowing it to ground out. This will keep the heater on and not allow it to shut off. Needs a new ice maker 4/23 I pressed the the test/reset buttons and both ice makers went through the process. Even the one in the fridge section. Which it didn?t do the other day when I was there. I went into diagnostic mode and didn?t see any codes come up. I reset the main board by holding down the reset button. The customer is going to see if it?s making ice and dumping it. They will call us back. It seems to be a sealed system issue the fridge temp is good but the freezer and the in the door ice maker are at 20degrees. The fans for the freezer evaporator are working. I didn?t see a lot of cooling or frost on the evaporator cooling fins. The unit is less than 4yrs old I told them to call lg and tell them they having cooking issues. There is a 10yr warranty on the linear compressors.

I tested the power start button and it?s testing good. The door switch tested good. I took the front pannel off of the dryer and found the thermal fuse was blown. I talked to Dan and he said the vents were all cleaned last weeks. I noticed some lint build up in the fan housing. I removed the housing and it was packed with saw dust and lint so it was cleaned out. The blower fan was packed with lint an old Paper towel and a dryer sheet. That was cleaned out plus I cleaned the lint screen and upper housing. All these problems will definitely lead to the dryer overheating and blowing that fuse. Ran and tested the dryer is working great.

Oven panel was not working but the clock was on and had the correct time. I unplugged unit and tested all components which tested good then plugged back in and put in service mode which had an F7 error code which is for a stuck key. After I cleared code and was able to turn oven on and do back it heated to 350? without issues. I also tested all buttons which all worked and cooktop worked. If this continues to happen they would need a replacement knew key pad and the harness to the main board. Part numbers are in notes but this angle is also 15 years old so customer is not sure what he will do and is going o look around at new ones. Let him know if he does decide to fix this he has 90 days to do it and get todays charges taken off of total of quote which was emailed to him.

Washer gets to spin cycle then starts filling again then spins it out then fills again and it does that for about an hour then An out of balance error pops up. I put it in service mode and it went through the whole thing without an error code. Water level sensor is good. A mems sensor is needed but customer decided to just get a new washer due to the face he got this one on sale for $450

No spin on site. The belt is broken. I repaired the issue with the whirlpool maintenance kit. Ran and tested, the dryer now spins and works properly.

Dryer was heating when I got here the wrong setting was on. Customer got a maintenance kit installed and new venting put on plus inside of dryer was cleaned out.
