Originally I thought it was the aid dampener because I was getting zero air flow to the fridge. Even after testing the dampener I had no air. The evap fan is working great. I thought there might be an issue with cooling on this unit because the lack of frost on the evaporator. It just happened that I was there and the fridge was defrosting. Upon my second return I pulled the freezer apart and again found little to no frost on the cooling fins I checked the heater element it was cold and not hot so it was not defeosting. This time I only had frost pattern on the upper coils and the lower ones were just cool with water dripping off of the cooling fins. The dampener was iced up shut and not working I cleaned the ice out. I still don?t have a frost pattern on the evap. It seems like the fridge has a coolant leak or the compressor is faulty. It looks like it?s a 2016 model and should be covered under the 10 yr warranty by Maytag. Customer is going to call maytag to look at it.

I cleaned out the drain hose for the freezer defrost it had globs of gunk I?m it. It started draining right away. I cleaned the ice from the bottom of the freezer. Possibly needs a door gasket it had frost build up at the bottom of the door and up by the light.
