Most of the kitchen floors are damaged because of a water leakage coming from the refrigerator. The plastic drip pan is cracked and deformed. It is discolored and warped. The ice maker was also frozen over and clogged and was leaking into the floor. Drain tube for the refrigerator defrost drains into the drip pan after each cycle. I normal conditions the water just evaporates from the cooling fan for the compressor. With the crack it was allowing the water to leak onto the wood floors.

I checked the coupling I just installed and it is fine I ran a wash load and had it spin out about a half dozen time it seems to be working fine. The plug never got hot.
