I checked the coupling I just installed and it is fine I ran a wash load and had it spin out about a half dozen time it seems to be working fine. The plug never got hot. There was a little odor at the electric motor but it felt only warm and not hot. I never seized up or stopped working and it sounds normal nothing unusual.
