Evap fan is randomly humming and vibrating. There is no ice or frost in the blades. It sounds like the motor is wearing out. $300 to fix not going to repair it?s an old whirlpool fridge.

Complaint of noise and warm temps. Measured 0 degrees in FZ and 66 degrees in FF. Ice visible on screws that hold Evap cover on. Defrost issue. Multiple Service pointer from kitchen aid on this issue. Verified software version of 7.00 ruling out ?ice clogging? pointer. Reviewed steps in pointer W11033419D. Evap thermistor measured 1.99 k ohms which is out of range. Customer advised that updates to both firmware and Evap cover are outlined in service pointer and Included in quote to ensure complete stoppage of issue. Unable to rule if thermistor failed first and stock hardware is valid or if ice block condition on evaporator caused thermistor failure.

Replaced drain hose with check valve and checks ok

Customer unit was leaking from the top where the table top is at when diagnosing unit customer has the leak coming from the door customer will be needing door and will be exploring there options on how they could get it covered or getting a new one

Customer found a piece of rubber laying on the ground by the dishwasher. I checked all gaskets/seals and it didn?t appear to come from them. I then ran the dishwasher for 25min to check for any leaking and there was none.

****Dishwasher wont start needs a new computer board WD21X10378 going to be $450 for repairs. This is an old ge dishwasher probably time to replace. The relays aren?t clicking the key pad is unresponsive and isn?t turning on. ***** **** The middle burner is the warming burner and doesn?t get red hot like the others. All the burners are working just fine all light up red. The top middle won?t because it?s the warmer. I felt it and it?s definitely putting out some heat.**** **** The compressor wasn?t t running on the unit . The fridge was cooler but the freezer was fairly warm. The cubes were half melted. I unplugged the unit and pulled it out. I checked the coils they were fairly clean. Cleaned the back cardboard piece of dust and lint. When the u it was plugged back in the compressor wasn?t starting and making a weird noise. I ohm tested the compressor and it checked out ok. The starter for the compressor was noisy and didn?t work properly. I replaced the starter and the compressor fired right up. **** in the second fridge it was a ge side by side and the evaporator was frozen over bad I steamed and thawed out. I tested the heater and it was bass the coils were broken. I replaced the heater. I also replaced the thermostat it looked a bit swelled up. I told the customer it would take about 12 hours for the fridge and freezer to get super cold.

Replaced water tank assy and checked unit unable to locate any farther leaks , tests good

Customer complaint was that the unit was leaking when running a light was could not detect any leaks inform customer to monitor unit and if can identify any leaks give us a call has a 90 day service call

Customer said there was a loud squeaking noise and. Licking coming from the compressor last night. Refrigerator was unplugged when I got here. Plugged it back in and compressor started right up along with condenser fan and evap fan. I took everything out of freeezer then shut the door so I could try and get a frost pattern on evaporator. Evap had a good frost patter on it, freezer was down to 17? and FF section had dropped down to 40? Everything seems to be working without issues.

Appears door was ajar on right side as majority of frost is only accumulated on right side. Removed some ice and frost but did not want it to all melt and get on rails/ slides as it would cause door to be hard to open/close . Recommend seeing if evaporator will pull remaining moisture out over the next couple days If door gives trouble opening/closing would recommend new drawer rails

Installed new timer and customer supplied knob. Customer knob is OEM. Tested unit and unit tested good.

Customer unit was making a loud noise and would not go into a spin mode went ahead and replaced coupling unit operating with in specs complete

Complaint of no tumble. Disassemble unit found broken belt. Idler pulley completely stuck and roller bearings not spinning unhindered. Found blower wheel worn out on drive shaft. Ran motor and motor hums loud considering under no load. Motor gets very hot after short period of operation. Customer advised belt, idler, bearings, to fix critical function of unit but recommended replacing motor as well or to consider replacement options due to cost of complete repair.

Checked door and all is closing good seals are good only issue is holders for freezer door are alittle sticky put some petroleum jelly on and all is working good.

Lower spray arm cracked and causing wall of water to front door lower sprayarm needs replacing to repair. 8-9-23: Replaced lower spray arm ran and tested for leaks and all is leak free

Inner drum has become completely detached from the outer drum. Customer is going to get a new washer.

Ice make is not working at all it won?t harvest or anything. Some of the drawers are broken but are super expensive to replace. The oven the igniter is not sparking. The burner has special star shaped burners that need a special too to remove. It sounds like the ceramic has broken in the igniter and is sparking down below the burner and not up at the top.

Customer would need ui and pump if wanting to go along with repair

Washer- complaint of odor from washer. Determined odor is from stand pipe washer drains into, when water drains into stand pipe the P trap is no longer sealing off sewer from customer atmosphere causing an odor when unit is in use. Customer reaching out to plumber. Fridge- intermittent noise. Narrowed down to compressor. When doors are opened able to produce noise on 1 occasion. Customer states it usually happens when doors are shut. Inspected compressor found no signs of mounts deteriorating. Compressor draws a proper 1 amp and temps are good. Leveled unit, customer advised compressor could be experiencing vibration internally and this is not a serviceable part for Register. Recommended manufacturer if issue persists or gets worse.

Ice route motor keep on opening and closing this is possible a bad left door Or ice route #DA97-19028B if the ice route don?t work will need new left door .

Ran unit more then 20 min and didn?t see no leaks customer did say it leaks sometimes advise customer to make sure when filling up unit nothing is hitting the wash blades if customer calls back will recommend Door seal Bottom wash blade Top wash blade

Cleaned out garbage disposal lots of glass causing motor to be jam all fix Dishwasher 25 e error code possible cause disposal not draining down properly. If customer calls will recommend drain pump # Turbidity sensor #

Complaint of no wash/noise. Similar to last issue. Found shift actuator arm disengaged from Cam splutch assembly. Replaced with updated shift actuator. Tested unit and unit tested good.

Customer has a bad circulaton motor causing the unit not to run and circulate and not having the dishes to be clean customer will be exploring there options on a new one

Complaint of breaker tripping and ice in FF compartment. Customer has relocated outlet via extension cord and tripping has gone away. Breaker is AFCI and compressor is variable speed. Variable speed motors can make changes in frequency that can cause AFCI to trip inadvertently. Customer seeking electrician to replace breaker. Unit had defrost drain blockage. Cleared ice blockage. Inspected drain tube and no obvious blockage. Melted ice via steam. Customer to monitor.

Needs a new washer all the electrical has shorted out and burned up all the boards

Drain pump was not working. A new one was installed and it?s working without issues.

Belt broken replaced vacuumed inside all is clean and running good.

Updated the software for the dishwasher ram and tested good.

Frig needs dispenser board but part is NLA and we are unable to repair Gas range set temp and actual temp are pretty close the 30 minutes we were observing temps May be slightly lower so we calibrated oven slightly warmer , if problem is persistent would recommend new temp control and overlay estimate approx 277.00plus tax and shipping would be due

Customer unit would not be cooling inside of the fridge compartment then start to cool back up and work fine so customer was having intermittently issue recommended the electronic control board inform customer on 90 day service call and to monitor unit

It?s throwing a lid lock error code. The lid lock gets stuck and won?t open. Manager is Shawn Rollins asst mgr is Nicole they will have a credit card for payment .upon return. I replaced the lid switch it was soaked with water and covered in grease causing it to not operate properly. Ram and tested the washer and it?s working fine now.

Dryer was squeaking when in use, took apart and say that idler pulley was broken. A maintenance kit was installed with 4 wheels, belt and pulley and the dryer was vacuumed out. Dryer is running without issues.

Customer bake portion was not working went ahead and confirmed that the broil portion was working then when running the bake was not getting any amps went ahead and replaced Robertshaw igniter and unit is now working with in specs complete

F/F Evap fan blade cracked and under warranty to be replaced. 8-8-23: Replaced FF evap cover with fan changed defrost patter to 17 all is testing good instructed customer to monitor.

The computer boards aren?t communicating with one another. The motor board is clicking but nothing is happening. The main board is having issues as well talkin to the user interface.

Replace heater tested unit everything is working now

Cleaned out the filter and vacuumed out the drain line from the tub to the drain pump. I also vacuumed out the drain line from the pump. I filled and drained 5 times no issues. I also manually spun the drain pump impeller fan by hand. It felt good it had good resistance, and wasn?t loose or sloppy.

Replaced water filter sensors board and new oem filter Unit reset and is operating properly

Readjusted bottom drawer all is closing good.

Replaced door boot/bellow and checks ok

Complaint of leak in FF section. Found water dripping in from FZ to FF. Drain tube is blocked, poor frost pattern on Evap. Only achieved 20% frost. Advised not to rectify drain issue as unit is on its last leg.

Installed trim and mounting kit , ran new copper water line. All tests ok

Dishwasher was not draining so the hoses were cleaned out and the pump was taken Off and a piece of glass was taken out now drain pump is working and a software update was done

Talked to GE and has JK come and work on it with me and board went back after being u plugged. All harnesses are good and getting voltage. Oven is still under warranty since it was just purchased in February so customer is going to call and get parts shipped to him and we will install. He will call once he has them to reschedule 8/7 installed new UI, jumper harness, Wi-Fi module, and 2 main boards and range is still doing the same exact thing. Talked to GE again and it?s been deemed non repairable and they are going to be replacing it since it?s still under warranty. GE case number 10675703

Hub and gearbox shaft teeth stripped out Estimate approx 415 plus tax due No repair at this time

Ran refrigerator through service mode checked all components all are checking king good problem is with frost buildup on evap and is a known problem with kitchenaid. Recommend to contact kitchenaid if problem returns.

I found the spring for the door latch had come off of the holder. I reattached it to a different part of the door so that it would put tension on the latching mechanism.

Bent he tab down for the door latch and it seems to be working good.

Ran dishwasher through many cycles along with service mode can fine no leak and adviced customer to run dishwasher and call if needed.

Ran a diagnostic and there is a 4-3 error code which is the wash motor, dishwasher will fill with water the does nothing else. A sump w motor is being order 8/4 new sump installed and it?s working without issues.

Replace igniter tested unit working good now

Customer had a broken timer Fitting causing the knob not to fit seen pliers on the dryer looks like it broke off When waiting for the new knob to come in informed customer that normally that physical damage and not covered but we will cover part but they will still have to pay a least a service charge

On arrival determined unit must be uninstalled to complete repair. Attempted a drain and spin cycle to evacuate as much water as possible from unit. Keypad not allowing to easily select cycle, unit is flashing the number 3 as if the lock controls button is being pressed. Changed ACU to see if this would correct keypad faults but keypad is still not accepting commands easily. Customer advised this symptom not present on initial service call. Customer states keypad really started acting up over the weekend. Offered replacement of both ACU and UI. Derek to return on 8/4 to replace UI. Replaced ran and tested the functions all seem to be working great.
