In today’s environment, everything from vehicles to major home appliances are designed by engineers to use the cheapest possible materials to build the finished product. Major home appliances, especially washers and dryers have “wear” items very similar to vehicles with tires and brakes, which require regular maintenance. If these “wear” items are not changed when issues arise, it puts other major components at risk such as the motor, bearings, etc.
